Causing 'Chaos' @ District Conventions ....

celtic here.. i realise many of you are not yet upto scratch on downright going for the society, that's cool.. for those of you more radical activists out there, what better possible manner in which to cause major disruption and to teach something of our aims to a potential massive audience, than to attend a district convention near you.. saucepans and sticks don't half make one hell of a din.. digital cameras are cool too to record all activity and to possibly edit later on for possible leverage with media bodies interested in the event etc.. the point is, is to have a watertight angle on which to go in on, to cause the best possible effect to our strategic advantage.

that means imforming the media of our presence in advance plus many other initiatives that will be described as part of a longer post on this subject tomorrow.. take a leaf out of the uk road protesters and anti global capitalists book, they could teach us a thing or two.. so who's up from you bunch of slackers, for causing major disruptions this year?

Hey Celty; could you sabotage the system with a devilishly inconspicuous extention lead and announce...'.....oh,and brothers and sisters;please don't forget to pick up your special 2002 convention information sheet on the way out from the box in the carpark...'

Celty,I like the sabotaging of sound equipment; no sound; no show!I t would be remembered as the best convention ever-a real HOLIDAY!They'd probably thankyou.
Englishman;the infiltrating idea is FABULOUS;if time is a problem(who wants to spend 3 days in that atmosphere)I wonder if a leaflet'scatter ' would reach many-especially in the car parks..

if it was'nt for the internet i would still be stuck in the endless cycle of drone like meeting attendance and field service.

(technically i'm still in but not for long) i'm really glad that some ex-jws took the time to speak about the real truth.

for the longest time i always thought that what i was taught was correct, i never even felt the need to question it or validate it with actual facts.

Hi Leander;It was the internet that gave me the courage to finally let go...Had been attending meetings for years ,but could never explain why I refused to get baptised.Started to get left out of social situations -big hint!The more they pushed me the farther I ran-finally decided that I could'nt watch my children die a horrid death just because I did'nt have the right attitude...Decided to go back and get it right this time..then I got a computer and was DYING to look at some ex-jw sites as when at a convention I was told not to look at their literature or i'd leave the truth immediately...Wondered why?What could be as persuasive as that?What if they had some good points?i'd always asked questions about the soc's finances,holdings etc and had'nt had a satisfactory reply..so decided to do a search,found a site ans read for hours; I honestly can't remember which one it was;and have never found it again..But I found many others...all around the un issue time which was good.I asked everyone about it and hated the way they spoke with so much authority on something they know nothing about.Then I phoned the un and Bethel and was shouted at and mocked by a wtbt bastard ..thanks mate!!!Never went back,never will,THANKYOU- ALL OF YOU XXXXXX
